Tournament Dates 2020:
Already on February 23, 2020, the premiere series of international men's 15K tournaments of the ITF World Tennis Tour category will be launched. First and second event will take place in the EMPIRE Trnava tennis club. The TC EMPIRE begins with two indoor tournaments - the first is played from 23.2. to 1.3., the second from 15 to 23 March 2020. The series will be later played in HSC Piestany: TeniSta Open 2019 in May and in July will follow the Slovak F2 2019. The fifth and last sixth tournament will be held in TC EMPIRE in November & December 2020.
History:
EMPIRE Futures Trnava was a Men's Futures Tournament before being included in Series 6 events. It was held in the club TC EMPIRE Trnava on clay surface in July. At the premiere in 2013, domestic winner Kamil Capkovic won, next year it was Czech Jan Satral and in season 2015 triumphed in singles Martin Blasko.
EMPIRE Futures Trnava 2016 was dominated by France Corentin Denolly, who defeated Slovak member Patrik Fabian 7-5 7-6(2). Danylo Kalenichenko succeeded in the 2017 season in the singles, Alex Molcan dominated the tournament in 2018, and the event did not take place a year later in 2019.
