The member of the EMPIRE Tennis Academy Anna Laguza from Ukraine has won the doubles title at the well-known U14 tournament in Sweden. She took the Kungens Kanna & Drottningens Pris title together with the Polish player Maja Chwalinska.
The first edition of the EMPIRE Womens Indoor tournament in the TC EMPIRE Trnava has its winners. The Latvian player Anastasija Sevastova won the final match against Reka-Luca Jani from Hungary: 6-1, 7-6(3).
Latvian player Anastasija Sevastova had announced her retirement from the game after injuries in May 2013. She won the Estoril title in 2010 and reached the fourth round of the Australian Open in 2011, peaking at no. 36 in the rankings. But now, she has announced her return to competitive tennis after 19 months of retirement. EMPIRE Women’s Indoor 2015 (Prize Money 10,000 USD, hard) will be her second tournament this year and she has received the wild card for the women's event. Dalma Galfi, No. 10 in the junior rankings, was training before the Australian Open tournament in the TC EMPIRE Trnava. The player of our extraleague team was under the supervision of coach Juraj Jancovic who coached her from April to November 2013.
